Insomniac Games Working On New FPS Apart From Resistance 3?

Insomniac Games are known for developing two types of games: first person shooters, and third-person action games.  We've known for a while now that they've been hard at work on a yet undisclosed title, a new IP, to be published by EA, the new partner.

So what exactly is said game? Well, we have no clue, but Ted Price, Insomniac Games head, narrows down the field drastically.

Price was asked whether making an open-world game would interest him, especially after the wild successes of Rockstar’s Grant Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption. He’s response was rather interesting.
“I think it’s exciting and intimidating at the same time,” he told the mag, “when you think of how much content has to be created for a game like Red Dead Redemption, how much testing, and how well the design has to hold together, it’s mind-boggling.”
He went on to say one should never say never, however, and of the present, they’ll stick to their strengths, which are making first person-shooters (FPS) and third-person actions games.
“I can’t say we’d never do an open-world game,” he continued, “but it’s not one of our strengths.”
Adding: “We’ve been developing expertise in two different genres, first-person shooters, and third-person action games, and we move fairly carefully.
We like to build on our expertise and branch out slowly.”

I think they're working on a new first person shooter, you?

Thanks, Gamesthirst.
